A drifting controller doesn’t have to go in the trash. We repair PS5 DualSense, DualSense Edge, PS4 DualShock 4, Xbox Series/One controllers and Switch Joy-Cons, same day in Omaha or at our Lincoln store.
Stick drift and TMR upgrades
Standard analog sticks use carbon tracks that wear, which causes drift. When we replace a drifting stick we can fit TMR (tunnel magnetoresistance) sticks, which read position magnetically and have no rubbing contacts to wear out. Read more in our post Hall effect vs TMR sticks.
Other controller repairs
- Sticky or unresponsive buttons, triggers and bumpers
- USB-C/micro-USB charging port replacement
- Batteries that won’t hold a charge
- Controllers that won’t pair, or that disconnect
Repair or replace?
A new DualSense costs a lot more than most stick repairs, and a TMR upgrade can outlast the original sticks. If your controller isn’t worth fixing, we’ll tell you at diagnosis.
